The winter concert was a great success. The band and the 4th grades performed superbly during both concerts. I would like to thank the students for working as hard as they did to make the concert a success. I also thank the parents who were able to come and see their children perform. I plan to have a concert in the spring and will post the time as soon as I know when we can have it.

The band and the 4th grade winter concert is Friday, December 16. Times are 9:30-10:15 am for K-3d grade, and 10:15-11:00 am for 5th-8th grade. Parents are invited and encouraged to attend and support the musical efforts of their children. There is limited seating in the sanctuary, especially with all of the school coming to the concert, so get there early for a good seat.

The children have worked diligently for several months to prepare and are sounding very good in practices.

There will be a winter concert at Liberty on the 16th of December! The band will give their first performance, and the 4th grade classes will be singing. We encourage all parents to attend. The concert will be held in the sanctuary. Time will be published later.

The end of school is almost here. I wish all the students from Liberty a happy summer vacation. Be safe, have fun, and come back in the fall ready to start a new school year.

Both second grade classes will be performing in a Mother's Day Concert on Friday, May 6, at 2:00 in the sanctuary. All parents are invited to see and hear the concert, but especially moms. There are several songs that are dedicated to Moms, and you will want to see them performed by your children.

This is a busy month, but do try to make time to be here on the 6th of May.

The Liberty girls basketball team has completed their season. We played hard in our playoff game, but lost by 8 points. This season the girls played together as a team, and even made up some plays on their own.

We will be losing most of our team to promotion this year. Next year I hope to see a large number of 5-8 girls trying out to replace the ones that we are saying goodby to.

Coaching this year was a pleasure, and I look forward to building next years team.

Final regular season games

The final regular season basketball game will be played on Monday, February 28, at Valley. The girls team has had a successful year, winning 4 games. The playoff schedule should be available on Friday, March 4. The playoff games will also be announced at our Monday morning assembly. All students, parents, and staff are encourage to come out and support the teams.
